George Winston -- pianist, composer, and pioneer of the introspective, New Age solo piano style -- has left quite a mark on American music.

His first major album, December, has sold over 4 million copies domestically, and continues to be a seasonal favorite for many.  Rounding out the year, Mr. Winston also released Autumn, Winter into Spring, and the widely appreciated Summer.

Recent solo albums include Forest, and the recently debuted Plains.

Mr. Winston was raised in Montana, and is recognized for a gentle, flowing, introspective approach to the piano.  Mr. Winston tours extensively.  He has been the subject of a PBS documentary of his work, and rounds out his piano skills with slack-key guitar performances.
