Bo Lozoff

Bo Lozoff is the cofounder of the Human Kindness Foundation and its award-winning Prison Ashram Project.  He holds an honorary doctorate from the Chicago Theological Seminary and is a recipient of the prestigious Temple Award for Creative Altruism.  He has lectured in hundreds of prisons, universities, churches, and spiritual centers around the world and his work has been featured in many national publications.  Named by Utne Reader as one of America's 100 Spiritual Visionaries, he lives outside of Durham, North Carolina.

It's a Meaningful Life

In an era when the "fast lane" has taken over the whole highway of life, spiritual teacher and activist Bo Lozoff helps us discover the "vast lane" in this spiritual handbook for living a meaningful, joyful life.  The roots of happiness, says Lozoff, are not found in the search for success, but in an honest commitement to an inward spiritual practice.  It's a Meaningful Life: It Just Takes Practice (review or buy) introduces such practices as a daily vow of kindness and a commitment to help others.
