"Please work on developing a relationship with your intuition and on trusting it to guide you."

Echo Bodine, Hands that Heal, Part 4

For some of you, this is going to sound bizarre, and perhaps it is. But my point is this: the Universe knows whatís coming up. I donít. It knows what my real schedule is going to be, how my bodyís energy is going to be, which events of the coming week may cause more stress than Iím aware of. It knows about all the expected and unexpected events. It has my best interests in mind. It always steers me in the direction thatís best for me. It works!

When you wake up in the morning, ask your intuition to guide you throughout your day. Ask it if thereís anything you should do. Try to stay out of your head! Let ideas flow to you. Perhaps while youíre in the shower or on your way to work or school, be open and stay aware of ideas or inspirations that may come to you.

Developing a relationship with your intuition is really fun. Once you get rolling with it, it sometimes feels like youíve got this huge "in" as to how life really works. (You do!) You no longer feel alone or so confused. Youíll still be confused on occasion because the intuition sometimes gives us a "wait" or "later" answer. But even then thereís a peacefulness, the sense that while we may not have gotten the answer we wanted, we did get the right one.

I can give you guidance in this book about being a healer, but your real helper will be your intuition ó that feeling, that inner knowing, that hunch, a sense.

I used to say to God, "Why didnít you give me a manual with this gift? Why do I have to figure it all out by myself?"

The good news is we donít have to figure it out all by ourselves. We have an internal knowingness that guides us twenty-four hours a day.

Please work on developing a relationship with your intuition and on trusting it to guide you. You wonít believe how wonderfully the gifts of healing and intuition work together. Itís amazing how easy it all becomes.
