"Serve and revere your parents. Heaven is spread beneath the feet of mothers everywhere."

Jeffrey Moses, Oneness, Part 4

Honor Thy Father and Mother

It would be difficult to repay our parents for the hours, days, and years they cared for us when we were young. Perhaps the only way to return some of that love is through caring for our own children, and for our parents as they grow older.

We should do our best to know our parents, for knowing them is the key to knowing ourselves. The day will come when we shall wish we had known them better.

My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not your mother's teaching. Bind them upon your heart always; tie them about your neck. When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you.
